Project Backgroud
Brazilian firm Petrobras, along with its partners, has made an investment decision for the Mero 3 project in the Libra block, located 180 kilometres off the coast of Rio de Janeiro in the Santos Basin.
Mero 3 FPSO would have a liquid treatment capacity of 180,000 barrels per day and was expected to start up by 2024.
Scope of Supply
During this project, AFFCO successfully supplied batch of Butterfly Valve ,DBB Valve , Check Valve, Ball Valve & Globe Valve to top side of Mero 3.

For FPSO scope of supply, AFFCO manufactured and supplied all valves including butterfly valve, ball, Double Block and Bleed (DBB), gate, check, globe in diverse pressure ratings, soft and metal seated, in materials such as Ni Al Br, CS, Stainless Steel.
