UK Telford
As part of the AFFCO Group we pride ourselves in being one of the leading valve and actuator manufacturers/distributors for the water, sewage, oil and gas industries, worldwide. Our extensive valve and actuator product portfolio complies to BS ANSI and DIN standards offering exceptional quality and durability. Our focus is on product design, innovation and valve engineering. The AFFCO valve UK division was officially opened in 2019 and is centrally located within Telford UK ‘the birthplace of the industrial revolution’.
The UK facility covers an area of 1200 SQ meters, providing state-of-the-art assembly, testing and distribution facilities for the UK and international industrial markets.

Our UK operation ensures we can offer a flexible market-leading service to all our customers. Products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality to ensure durability and longevity.
From our UK HQ we provide consultancy services including impartial product specification, technical valve selection and advice, valve sizing, actuation selection, site service installation and the supply and retrofit of a full range of spares and replacement products.
Consultation:
AFFCO Range of products are manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 quality management system and designed and tested according to API, EN & JIS standards with long life time and low maintenance.
Assembly & certification:
All our valves are assembled and tested inline with EN12266 and the relevant design standard and inline with our ISO9001 quality management system. All actuated valves are stroke tested and commissioned via OEM trained engineers and certified with our unique serial number guaranteeing full traceability for all components.
Test Facilities:
Within our Telford based workshop we have two tailor-made automated hydrostatic test rigs for the testing of valves up to 600mm, including valve types Butterfly, Gate, Globe and Check. This allows us to certify valves inline with the latest standards including EN12266 We also have purpose built pneumatic and electric test stations for the testing and commissioning of actuators and accessories.
Site Services and Asset Management:
Our certified engineers have the knowledge and many years of experience to work on all types of valves, actuators , from critical service control valves to isolation valves including confined space working and providing expert assistance under challenging conditions.
Our specialised On-Site Surveys are designed to provide information on the condition of valves, penstocks and actuators which can be integrated into preventative maintenance programmes and provide the most effective and appropriate maintenance regime for your plant.
Our site team is able to carry out a full retrofit service of valves and actuators including the automation of valves previously operated manually.
We can identify the products you currently use, consolidate standards and remove your dependence on existing OEM spare parts by sourcing a product of equivalent performance at a favourable price.
Stock and distribution :
AFFCO UK have invested heavily in a new ERP system, material flow & stock control systems which has further improved our customer service. AFFCO hold ISO 9001 QMS accreditations and are aware of our environmental responsibilities and strive to be carbon neutral. AFFCO group are also looking to achieve ISO 45001 as health and safety in the workplace impacts on every employee. We have thousands of high-quality valves, actuators and ancillary related products all available for worldwide shipping on incoterms that suit you. Our stock range is one of the largest and most comprehensive of its kind in the UK and is available for immediate delivery. It is continually under development and review, we won’t hesitate to extend our stock portfolio or general product offering if we recognise that we can provide better solutions, we welcome positive client input and feedback.
QA Inspection:
Our Quality systems and procedures are observed by all employees and are promoted and enforced by senior management with awareness meetings and training with the specific aim of continually improving the professionalism of all our people. Credentials:
AFFCO UK are certified by LRQA, ISO9001-2000, PED 97/23/EC Certification, and are accredited with marine type approvals such as DNV, lR, ABS, CCS, BV and other industrial certifications as TUV Fire-Safe, ATEX, WRAS, KIWA etc.
